Did you try using the latch function and moving the knob using the mouse?
I honestly can't say if I have ever used Logic's Automation with the atmosphere, most of the automation I use for the instrument is controlled by the lfo or envelope.... An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. |

I think Colin is right. You can't control Atmosphere with automation. |

ye i did it. but didnt workd..
i think its not possible to automate..
Is there any way to record as i do with a synth hardware? But i've tryed but i only can asign inLogic the inputs from the soundcard and the sound from atmosphere is coming from the main out not the inputs, so i couldn't record it. with a crapy Soundblaster i could do it but with this i couldnt use atmosphere so .. how can i have a automation and make a sample with Atmosphre?
10x in advance

If atmosphere recieves MIDI messages for other controllers, then I don't see a problem in automating it. But maybe it only recieves note on/off and velocity information?

i'm with trip,
if atmosphere can receive midi then it should be automatable within logic.
u should be able to use either hyper edit, hyper draw or track automation.
are you using a 'real' version of logic?

Found this in the user guide
SLIDER/KNOB AUTOMATION
All Knobs and Sliders on Atmosphere can be automated using external MIDI
controllers and control change messages (see MIDI Control Change chart).
This transforms Atmosphere to another level of sound design and interaction.
We highly recommend that you experiment with MIDI controllers to experience
what they can achieve musically.
However, the knob/slider information is not sent from the Atmosphere plug-in
interface to the host application via mouse movements, so you must use external
MIDI control change messages for automation. The MIDI controller operates like
a "remote control" of the knob or slider, so it’s the same result as changing
parameters with a mouse. (Pay close attention to the selected Layer and Link
mode)
Due to current technical limitations, standard automation in hosts like Pro Tools
or Logic Audio 5 is ignored. Logic 5 users must enable Logic to respond to "any
MIDI controller" in the Song Settings preferences. You can use Hyper-draw in
Logic to set-up MIDI faders to automate the Atmosphere faders, which works
very similar to the Logic 5 automation system.

Wow... That helps a bunch. I think I might have to give that a shot...
