How to automate a virus "c" at cubase SX3?

Hi ppl, yesterday I was trying to automate my virus "c" in cubase SX3, but can´t figure out how does it works.
Could someone tell me how can I do the trick, pls?

in the virus: System >midi control> lopage on contr and hi page on polyprs .
in cubase go in preference ,midi and there is something like: midi controller input to automation, check this box, it s the first one.now you have the autamtion same as vst if it s working well. |

Cubase is checked now (midi controller input to automation).
It can be a silly question, but, where is that "system" you mention in virus?

To be honest I didn´t like so much Virus C manual. I really prefered Clavia´s Nord Lead 2/2x/3 ones. For sure Virus C is much more complex, but the manual sounded too much "not formal"(sorry for this expression). I mean, sounded like a man talking about the Virus C, without so much patience... hehehehe
