Hey guys, in flstudio i use TAB to alternate the screens im working, for example lets say i hv two vsts opened, also a channel seettings window opened and mixer opened too. What is the key command i use to alternate those windows, so i dont hv to minimise one or even close and open the other and close the other etc hehe With the key, the work becomes faster!Im using the 2.0 vesion, Thanks in advance,

Try to set the cubase windows in the "always on top" mode, that way you can just click to other vst, without the first one being closed

One thing you could do is just set up keycommands for any of the windows you need to access regularly, such as the mixer being under F3 (default) and the VST-instruments under F11...

One thing I find a very useful function of cubase is the fact that you can create workspaces. Click "window" and then "workspaces". There's a bit about it in the helpfiles of SX as well, so read that. I myself have three basic workspaces set up in this way. One with sequencer, mixer and instruments, one with just the mixer (over 2 screens) and one with just the sequencer... it really speeds up your work.           To hell with reality! getting a second monitor is a good solution as well.

as fregle said, CTRL+SHIFT the only way.

you can also experiment with saving window layouts (under the Window menu), which you can recall by ALT+pad1 ALT+pad2 etc           http://triplex.trance.net

It is.. I have a second monitor as well... but let's be real, getting a second monitor is an expensive option, too expensive for most.           To hell with reality! well it depends. I got a second hand Philips 109S monitor (19 inch) for 90euros. It's not the best but it does the job. Although it is pretty tricky to setup 2 CRT monitors cause their refresh rates interfere with each other if you have them close together. So you'll have to find an appropriate combination of refresh rates in order to avoid seeing a horizontal line travelling on your screen.

Having one TFT monitor and one CRT will work perfectly. And of course if you can handle 2 TFTs its the best solution cause you are not getting any radiation.           http://triplex.trance.net

always on top:

right click on the upper part (some grey area) of your vst, and choose always on top. Area where you must right-click is between vst and that blue window bar.
You must do that for all synths.

Hope it helped
