I have been working on cubase lately and have been wondering how to Add effects on certain picked out midibars and not the whole midichannel without having to make the effect on the whole channel and exporting and importing it as an audiofile ..This is not very userfriendly imo..
Anyone have any tips ?

thanks in adcance!

You can use automation to add effects on some parts and not others. Although... automation in Cubase isn't really userfriendly as well

Another thing you'll find is that working with audio is much easier than midi.

I have found that bouncing my loops to audio not only saves on CPU, but also allows me to selectively add effects directly on the audio. It's quick, simple, and beats the heck out of playing with automation curves.
