Here in Brazil, the scene is growing fastly in a such way that's loosing its main significate.

We aren't able to see anymore that "roots time" of some years ago.

Now people that comes to the parties have other interests. They go to take drugs, show themselves, carring just about their social lifes, wondered about what others are thinking about him. And the main significate of the scene? Some producers forget this and their main obejective is just financial.

It's something that's annoying me. And I wanna know how the scene is goin' on on your cities.

With growth comes change - it's a double edge sword dude.

You can't expect the scene to be the same everywhere for ever. This you will have to accept if you want the scene to grow IMO - I've noticed this where I live. You can not bring an entire scene to a different area and force it upon people. You have to let it grow the way it does, trying to influence as much as you can, but let people party how they want to I think, as long as they love the music.

ecohigh,
wanna change the world?

well,
sometimes the scene fly high and sometimes its a little bit down... but you are talking about the parties right?
from what i heard Brazils know how to party

listen, some ppl like this and some ppl like that... sometimes... maybe you are going to the wrong places cause its hard for me to believe that ALL the parties and ppl are like that in Brazil...
i can take you to some parties here in israel that the only interests of ppl will be drugs, money, sociality and so and so, but i can also take you to some parties where the ppl are beautyful, friendly, lovind, dancing...
im hookd with ppl that i realy love... maybe you need to change your direction...
the scene is always growing. you dont like the way it leads? find another one.

make the change.
its start with one

btw,
i have no complaines about israel, sometimes its good... sometime its a blast!

ecohigh, i'm from Brazil also and what i have to say is that you must select the parties you decide to go. It is true that the scene is growing intensively here, therefore all kinds of parties now play some trance and hire some trance djs. These parties are not trance parties, just parties where they play trance.

Now, on the other hand, you can definately find some excellent events to go to. There are festivals where people come from all over the world with the best vibes. I have no complains for the scene here, although I know about its limitations and bad sides, because overall i think its great... It's hard to find such happy and entusiastic crowd in such gorgeous and liberal place as Brazil.

BTW, i agree with what nova and vertigoa said, and you must see that everywhere around the globe there is the same drug/socia/out-groups b.s! Enjoy...

Im from brazil, but now I live in england but I go back to brazil every now and then...

It is true that the trance has grown massively in brazil in the past years, but that has happened in several other countries.

I don't see a problem with the people that just go to socialize and take drugs, cause on the end of the day they are having their fun, and I'm having my fun with my mates. it is true what shrom said that we have to select the parties.

Here in England their is so much things to due, and styles of music that their is not much of this problem with 'different' people as you said, and even if they do turn up to the party they have fun and their is a vibe their are also some party which have psy, techno, house, garage and drum'n'bass in one party I don't go to those partys (selection)

My advice is select and enjoy with your mates, dont let others stop you having fun           "Great things are only possible with outrageous requests." Thea Alexander

maybe i dind't express my point very well.

never, i do not let this fact damage my fun. but, u can't feel that vibe of years ago. nowadays, obviusly, there's the trance-fans but some people forget the entire "syle of livin' as a raver". I simply travel through brazil in order to find a killa party, and the most of festivals-parties i come, i can't find what i want, this only happens when i come to a remote place.

exemple: celebra brasil, last year was a great festival but that implied just a financial cause, u could feel that commercial thing. and this year because of movin' the party to another place, most of the people didn't come and u could hear some sayin' that wouldn't be anymore a killa festival. and in the end was great! just people with interests on trance-art, everything was cool. full of good vibes.

i'm not tryin' to say that the scene here in brazil is bad. it's very, very, very cool but what's happenin' here, i'm almost certain that's happenin' in other countries. in fact, i go to, almost, every festival that happens here.

I guess outdoor parties became a trend, people just go to them to be "cool", the parties became raves...           Its the vibe that matters.

IMO the greatest problem here in brazil is to choose the party you won't go...
Making myself clear, I see where the "wrong people" are going, so I can go in the opposite direction... The problem are great festivals, where I don't have a choice...

about festivals....
well, it is a problem.
i was in the firsts "bereshit" and "shantipi" festivals... and boombamela after that...
then i had so much fun. i capt going there till i saw its getting lower and lower over the years. now its bomba-arsim (lots of shimonim).
festivals are a big problem, no doubt.

but parties? thats a different story, for example, when i hear Doof, i know its gonna be a good one. ppl are great, and so are lots of names. ofcoures there are some falls among... but you just need to know them.

i heard that fatali will be in brasil this month.... thats a nice start!

Well the situation in Israel do not look promising this season... Thanks to new laws and a bored out corrupt policeforce parties are closed down before they even begin (even with a valid permission).

And the situation is not better when it come to people effort to tavel for the good parties... If the party is not close to Tel Aviv or other major cities people just don't bother to go there.... The result is 150-200 people at the parties.......... Anyway there's too many people putting on parties here..... This is another problem that causes almost every party organiser with one main problem... Not enough people at their parties to cover the costs when there's 20 + parties going on every Friday in this country........

Maybe less DJ's and liveacts at the parties would do the trick? It's not echonomical valid to have 5 - 7 Dj's in one party starting from 2-3 am and stopping at 10 am..... Just my opinion of course.... and a little lesson about echnomics I guess

Of course Israel is a very beautiful and perfect party country when a party actually attract people's attention... (The energy at some parties is superb and the people are great).....And it does happen that good parties are happening here... It's just too rare these days that the organisers don't loose money..... I guess the echonomical trouble and high unemployment in this country does not help on the situation too.

Maybe we should start nameing the parties "Rave against the Drugs" or "Drugs are Bad 2003" so that the police wont suspect us...           Its the vibe that matters.
