hey , this isnt strictly a production question but im planning on doing a concept album based on the 1992 version of 'Bram Stoker's Dracula'(film), i know thats not important right now , so
any tips on how to get it started?
bassically , how should i go about it
what should i do?
any help would be great , cheers

I think you should start a bunch of tracks and keep working on them all bit by bit until they're all done at once. That way since it's a concept album it can have a consistent flow. Maybe once you get them done you can string them together with ambient/atmospheric sequences to make it all sound more like one big piece of music. But that's my humble idea. erm change the concept? if no insperation is coming from there, change the idea. otherwise it will sound like parts of a fourm instead of parts from your Mind n shit.
if not do what u can and throw me a link when u done, be interesting to listen
if it wus me tho id start by timestreching the most profound vocal qoutes in the movie (if there is any) and timestreching alot of fx to give it that Dark kind of vamparic effect lol |
