Never.
Not that it's bad, just it hasn't been updated for so long - and that is because no-one has the time or inclination to do it
You have a potential gold mine here if you can find people motivated enough, with the time on their hands, to keep it all current/up to date
Maybe just change the front page to a splash screen that leads to the forums, as all the information needed is on the forums anyway
If whoever is behind the coding here looks at some statistics, they'd find most people go to www.isratrance.com and just hit the forums button without a second glance at anything else on the front page |

Mushrooms make you do crazy stuff. Look at Mario he jumps on animal heads and fights with dragons. |

that's a very nice idea.
Combining the directory and the festival and party promotion could do the trick.

answering the question, i never never do it...
i agree with the last post
isratrance still gets more info than any site ever, about releases/parties
if you could just rssfeed that info on the site, it could become like goabase, or like chaishop used to be in the old times as well...
but this again requires time and patience and work

If this is really the case, the situation is critical. I find it extremely worrying that no festivals are posted in the apporopriate section.
(Why can´t I find Vuuv 2011 in the festivals for example? Cant be that no one cares. Especially after the big VuuV thread in the trance forum...20 years VuuV/VooV/VuuV c´mon)

yes, the situation is very critical. but it is not because of the festivals. take chaishop as an example, which was mentioned above. anyone involved in the trance culture in one way or another knows that chaishop was THE MOST VALUABLE ressourse for people interested in psychedelic trance that ever existed as an internationally driven community. what happened?
this happened: http://www.chaishop.com/article/13141
a new captain is wanted. this is the critical situation that is happening - that the captains are not that interested any more, which is of course their good right and i will be thankful to chaishop for ever for what they gave me. but you see, it is just critical anywhere you look at. not only in isratrance.
why did chaishop do with all the valuable ressourses : they implemented an integrated party database interface coming from goabase and put it on the first landing page. as if this is more important than the loads of information and articles that used to be available in early years. i think, if nowadays a new freak opens chaishop he would not even know about the immense quality and quantity of information that used to be stored there. all we see is festivals, festivals, festivals.
i cant look at that festivals base anymore. there is much more inside an behind the trance culture than festivals festivals festivals djs djs djs and visitors visitors visitors doing party .
and worrying that no festivals are posted here? of course, because they are posted on goabase. does this worry you? they obviously dont care. because it is isratrance you know. it is isra. and it is important who started to scene. irony on.
i tell you, there is very large need to aggregate the information available on isratrance ( especially in the older topics about production) and present it in shorter form. i see this as the most valuable ressourse on the internet.
