really, how good is to use hard cases for cdj's and mixers? it will make the equipment last longer? or it will take the same puynishment any way?           "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."

protects it alot during transportation, ive got both hardcase a trolley for my mixer, but im only using the hardcase now. good thing is that you can cover your stuff from dust while not using it.

I've had my odyssey mixer+cdjs case for about a year and a half and I wouldn't transport my gear without it.           http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

I have a flight case for a Vestax Turntables and Mixer.

Its too fucking heavy to move anywhere!

BUt.....if it does get moved....i know its safe.

Make sure that your gear is not LOOSE inside.

That foam with the points works nicely while letting it 'breathe'.

I would totally recommend RoadReady cases and yeah, you still have to use those foam pieces to prevent the gear from moving inside the case, make sure it doesn't stress the noobs or jog wheel....other than that I think it's the must if you want to enjoy your gear after lugging it around.
