How much can cost to edit an album?

I'd like to know the costs and the steps for make a full album...
the example can be 1000 copies of a cd with 10 different producers,plus the art work of the cd
Anyone who can help me?

Think you need to contact people in the industry to get a quote as I"d sya it is done on a case by case basis.

Depends how you're paying the artists, what country you're in, and what kind of quality you want in the end. You can expect to pay at least $2,000 USD without any up front money for the artists.
You believe in the users?

Its like to ask how much cost a car.....
which car,that is the question...
u have artist's that just in their begining that will give you the track for free only for the rls of it,and there are artist's that produce music and rls it for 10 years already and have their reputation,so u need to pay for it....( can cost from 200 euro till 800 euro...)
it's all depends in which direction u whant to go...
Mastering is also same idea,depends who make for u the mastering and the cost is also depends...
same goes for cover,distribution etc'....

thanks duyoush, it was really helpful.
I'm so new in this are so I think is not bad to ask...but really nice you are helping me.
do you know normally how many copies do the labels (hehe and I know it depends of the label...) but would be nice to have some examples...
how many copies can do a big label of psy-trance?
I bought a cd of Sanaton rec. that only maked 400 copies,this is nice for me!! just to know not many people have it...is like a treasure!

I will just quote myself from a post i made some time ago.
"Just printing 2000 copies will cost a label 2000 euros plus graphics design and a good mastering this goes up to 2600 euros easily.And if just half the artists featured on the compilation (lets say 5 out of 10) are registered to music rights companies like Acum or Sagem then for two thousand copies you need another 1000 euros in order to print your cd and receive it from the factory.Without paying any taxes and artists you need 3600 euros just for manufacturing expenses.
If you sign 10 tracks for 500 euros each then automatically you got another 5000 euros expense plus the 3600 euros manufacturing we are already on 8600 euros.And keep in mind that first class names will no way settle for less than 700-800 euros and the few super duper names that we got in our scene will ask you 1000 euros for a track.
So we are already on 8600 euros with no promotion at all,operating a website,sending away 60-70 promos and buying half a page on two music magazines and a small banner on psyshop or saikosounds then you can easily reach up the magic number 10.000 euros for a serious release that can stand out in the market and sell quiet good."
