It would be easier if each one of us speak for their country or region..
Here in mexico Big parties have about 4,000 people attendance, at least in Mexico city and Guadalajara. Monterrey used to have some parties but due to the war on drugs doing ilegal events is a big risk and the parties got busted by armed criminals from the cartels.
But lets say there 15,000 in Mexico city, 10,000 in Guadaljara and 10,000 in Mty.
Then in the rest of the country about 15,000 more, many cities have little scenes.
So for mexico I will say 50,000 aprox trancers.

You can not tell the exact number per country simply because there probably are more listeners than what you see at the parties.

I think psytrance is a very big scene.More than the most expect from here.There are music scenes that would dream to become someday as big as psytrance is.
Id say millions know what psytrance is.It could be business for the artists if the fans would spend more for music than for drugs and is a big paradox that no one can live only from it.Almost no one Id say.But still great psy will never die.

Not as many as there used to be, at least from my experience, but then I don't get out much thesedays it seems. But then there don't seem to be many parties thesedays, just gigs, and club nights.
