the last years the trance scene seperate in progressive side & psychedelic trance
personally i like both kinds
it depends on my mood
but most of my friends like one ..
i also know some they like both kinds
i want to know how many ppl in this forum like progressive & psychedelic trance both..

I assume that when you say "psychedelic trance" you mean full on? So your real question should be "how many like full on and progressive" cos in my books progressive = psychedelic trance and full on = dance music.

I like more psy but I even like prog ,I also like dark sometimes and I even like full on sometimes,seems that I like trance music general,if the track is good as profane wrote,doesnt matter much if it is prog or psy.

No offense but what is the point of this topic?
It's like saying "I like cupcakes while listening to Chipmunks Greatest Christmas Hits and I like psytrance". But my friends don't like the former 
Anyone here share my tastes so that I can feel better about myself?

i do think there is a similar feeling here to what i was saying in my other topic about categories being bullshit...
i wonder if the scene is waking up to some nuance in taste and perhaps expressing it in this forum...
party organizers and labels take note...
some good music exists from all subgenres of trance... people are feeling the multi-culti vibe;)

Same goes for me...
that is the beauty of psy trance, to choose from so many different sub-genres and still unite it into one pleasent musical voyage. especially at a party the sound evolution from night time oriented full on/twisted flowing into crispy morning progressive is important and is part of the diversity and tolerance of psy trance.
plus, listening just to one style would get too boring after some time... there's always a need for fresh tunes

Back to topic, as some have already said, I like any style, as long as it is good (good feeling + good production)
There are great tracks and crap tracks in almost all genres IMO
