I started this just out of the curiosity.
And who said if you have more GB'S u can never listen to majority of the stuff. Dude you just need to be systematic.
Reason why I started:
1. Hw serious are u abt psychedelic trance.
2. Hw seriosuly u take music
3. Yes, I fucking download all the music. Big fuck!! even if I was the artist some geek using soul seek or dc++ would do the same..so sorry to say but big fuck!!!. I download all sort of music from Trance to indian classical and I enjoy my music.
4. My GB's was a way to know much into the scene and i got my answer...

2. If you're serious about it, you'd find the way to get original CDs/vinyls and help the artists.

4. I know people who go to 2-3 parties every week and don't have a computer at home. I know artists that the only psytrance they have on their HDD is their own. Are you saying that these are less into the scene than you?

This is not true at all...
Even if there were as much people buying cd's as before intęrnet download, I can tell you that except few of them.... no artist would live decently out of his music...
It is an uthopy to think you can live by doing psy trance.... this subject was already discussed in LARGE way on many threads....
Is a good hobby, for few who reached the top of this small scene can be a correct way of living out of, but for most of the artist in the scene the only way to sort out the monthly budjet is to have a side job.....

1. more gb you got more diversity u got. More genre and more artists you got. So I belive it has everything to what I said.
When i am bored with one artist or gence i can switch on to different one.
2. Me buyin cd/s online would only help artist in the most tinest way.
If I stop downloading then will the world stop downloading.
I download and I say it proudly.
Forget that ask how many users in here the original operating systems.
I would 1 say or 2 out 10..even that is piracy. But this fucking doesnt ham[er bill gates business so it really doesnt bother most of us.
But cause our scene is small the profit ratio is small..with latest softwares, and new kids coming on the block the margin is getting narrower.
That why most of the artists and users crib about it. But in fact each fucking one of us have pirated something or the other. Be it software, or music or probably anything else.
I am what I am and I say it proudly cause I do this cause The internet world is much bigger den this forum. There are zillions of warez site having separate sections just for psychedelic trance download.
I got into all this cause its there to be copied, stolen, download.
You wanna make a shout try make a shout there not to my conscious.
3. when did I said having more GB makes you more deeper or popular in the scene. Its an individual's choice how serious he takes his music.
Hvae you seen simon's studio, he got everything not the software he got majority of the real stuff. and have seen blanka's studio.
a comp, software and some few others shit. But to me they both make killer music.
So its about each individual how he takes his music.
I just dont understand....for many more years we will keep this fight on about illegal Mp3 and shit.
The fact is its getting worst. i have downloaded albums one day post their date of release. Thanks to some russian dude and do you know how many visitors they have in a day.
I am just another download junkie..who say it proudly. I am a criminal of stealing music and I say it proudly...cause I love the music and if I have download it or steal it just to hear it then so be it.

I have divided by collection in years and everyday I hear a track and once I am done with it I shift to another folder which is only kept for the heard tracks.
I also keep music in my fone and in my car this way so that I can hear majority of the stuff.
Thats how I listen to all my collection...once done frm 1993 to 2009 den the cycle starts again from 1993.

I am going to stop listening to music alltogether. We are getting spoiled. All this music on the internet, up for grabs anyone to enjoy for free...i think it's destroying the merit of listening. Trust me when i tell you this obsession with having every single release borders with clinical madness. You will NEVER listen to all you have because there is always something new that comes out...that you MUST have of course.
