In Alot of tracks this "effect" is used , and in basic form it sounds like the whole track is slowed down (in a sec) i.e before a break or as a break , it sounds as when a slows the record down relases it and this gives a boost in the next section ...

i have a hard time explaining myself i think, but I hope u get what i meen ..            3ó BooOoM ShanKaRA 3ó

btw if u allready mentioned this topic... there is another effect that comes in break and so...
that make that all output sounds different... like low quality or something similar and then it comes back to normal... which effect is that?

if you mean the sound that is super overly used in fullon these days (ie - releasing of a record after slowing down) - thats made by reversing the kick. try it

boom!

Rishi - no slow down. Just take off the bass notes after the last kick in a bar.
Another thing to try is to make the wooshes and reverse stuff onto the 4th kick in a bar, and then absolutely nothing between the 4th kick and the 1st kick of the next bar.

PsyGoatDelic - bitcrusher, filters. Anything will do.
