How is this Broken Toy sound made?

Hi all!
Can you give me any advices about tweaking this kind of sound which I often meet in many fullon tracks. What kind of modulation makes it so fat? FM maybe?

Firstly fragile is possibly my favourite track on the album (apart from Fucking Machines) so good choice...
Anyway the sound:
if you've got Albino try this...
Sawtooth through a LP silk filter modulated by LFO at approx 0:300 with filter as an effect on HP (at about 5000) with almost full saturation and abit of spread as well 
it's not exactly the same but it's on the way there...

hi Dimit ......... i tried making that patch and i think i almost got there ....

get the patch from here ... its a Vanguard patch ....
apply some eq , distortion and reverb ! and there u go ...

Thank for the patch WAVELOGIX!
But I still can't get this sound - its fatness kills me. I've examined your patch and tried to make similar on Virus but failed. It's not as fat as "fragile". Maybe I choose wrong filters combination, but I think it's strongly modulated to make it fat. I'll continue trying!  |
