How is your opinion about the trance scene in switzerland ??

My opinion:
in switzerland we have a lot of nice partyplaces on the mountains ...
but we have a cold winter (from the middle of november to the middle of march)...then are the parties indoor in rooms and clubs...........or snowparties...
the most parties have from 100 to 500 ppls...
but in the last time play a lot of well known international acts and djs in switzerland.....and the parties grew....
in normaly we have at parties with international acts 600-5000 ppls .....
and at the zoom festival (biggest festival in switzerland )more then 20000...

it give two trance scenes in switzerland i think...the fullon/psychedelic scene and the progressiv/minimal scene....

that's my opinion......

It may be cold outside, but the psyparties in switzerland have a very warm atmosphere.

iv'e played there 6 times and every time was damm great.
it doesn't matter if the party is small or big,
swiss parties are firstly loyal to the "oldschool goa traditions" of parties(lots of deco & UV's,Chaishops, good sound systems, and the outdoor locations are some of the beautiful in the world) and usually the vibe is peacefull and happy but also screaming most of the time.
The crowd is great, and of course the best part - no matter where you look, almost everybody is rolling something.
Growing your own pot is legal and smoking is
also almost legal so the parties benefit from this naturally.....

WoW! sounds like a great place to live. And if this is not enough you are also only a stone throw away from Germany.

i agree here with mr thujon about that we have two scenes: progi and full-on.
and these two are pretty seperated from each other. that means most parties are either strictly progi or full-on. only a few promotes both styles. imo the progi scene is a bit stronger (means more ppl & more artist producing that kind of style) but anyways in switzerland the whole electronic music movement is pretty big, not just trance.

about that cannabis/drug thingy:
as far as im informed the legalisation-act of cannabis products is in legislation and i think it will easily pass. but as thujon said: no one really cares about that - switzerland is a smokers paradise. cus where i live (zurich) the police gives shit if u smoke on the streets/clubs/parks etc. when u walk along the lake in summertime everyone is smokin some shit. btw switzerland is, after holland, the second biggest exporter for cannabis in europe... says it all i think.

so long...

A bit off topic but-

iv'e tasted both of the countries's pot and i must say swiss grass is far superior to the dutch.
Holland & Amsterdamm have this commercial feel to it, but Switzerland is much different - lots of people grow their own amazing indoor swiss pot so they don't even go and buy it in the stores.
And smoking is "allowed" not only in Zurich,
i have smoked on the streets of bern, lucerne and wherever, people just don't give a fuck.

This is the way to be-
LIVE AND LET LIVE

swiss people,u are lucky to live there,
i hope u appreciate it

Yep
true..........
the drugscity nr.1 is official basel (the most ganja smokers)......i don't know why but it is so
and the Nr.2 alldopecity is Buchs(where i lives:( (the most drugsaddict ppls and the biggest official drugtrafficking............in all streets you can buy anything..........children beginn to take drugs with 13.......that's sick
i don't know why but that's the officialstudy

and because growing.........many ppls (how i) ....grow the own ganja....but we don't smoke it...we make our own shit with this
we like more the indoorweed better aroma......
swissoutdoorganja giva a good high but it is strong for smoke ....... that's my opinion.......

and i was 3 times on the policedepartement because i had smoke ganja and the police had fucked me on the street....also you know THC = Illegal .....
but in switzerland is smoking THC tolerated...

and about the prog scene and fullon scene in switzerland :
It give any fights in the scene because progressiv/or fullon........i think the swissppls had losed the respect to the otherside (minimal to fullon and fullon to minimal)............
i think ppls can have fun with minimal and/or fullon.....why this war allways in Interzone (swisstrancepage) ???
!!!!!sound is a matter of tast.......!!!!!!

be relaxt, hang back and smoke weed hehehe
