How is the scene like in west virginia?

Hi everyone
im from brazil, trance lover as everyone here, and im gonna move to usa in december, to live in charlestown for three months, but i dont know anyone from around there, specially from psytrance scene, and i would like to know if you could tell me some information, tips, and places to go...
From my researches, the city im moving in is near baltimore and washington dc, and from the posts here, there are more parties in there...
Dont know if im saying something stupid, correct if i am

I heard there was a small event there a couple months ago at a Hare Krishna Ashram! you just missed it. 
BUT...
I would not expect any kind of psy-scene , anything even close to Brazil. West Virginia, or anywhere on the east coast USA is NOT a place to go looking for psychedelic parties...
but I really hope you enjoy your stay - and there are lots of great people hidden about...

Cleveland, Ohio is your best bet. GoaHead does a lot of events in that area. Im from Ohio (living in Pittsburgh at the moment) but I have never been to a GoaHead event. I do remember a festival in West Virginia within the last couple months, but i cant remember the name or when/where it was. ill look around for you.
ps, its getting cold. i wouldnt expect anything going on this time of year. especially outdoors. |

since its a small city, i shouldnt spect much from there, but if there`s something near it, its good enough for me
from the related sites DC and baltimore has good parties, but i guess i`ll know better when im there ;D

the events in DC and baltimore have slowed down lately, mostly due to cyzum being in the studio instead of the club. which is a good thing for him, but a bad thing for all the partiers.
as far as the Mataa Mandaara festival, it was our 4th annual, and yes it does occur on hare krishna land... you can see pics in our gallery... there will be another next fall.
or you could always come to asheville, NC i think its not too bad from there... maybe 5-6 hours?
