try to make kick with waldorf attack but I don´t obtain a good kick . Maybease I need a compressor or a filter to give more weight in a kick. What they recommend to me? |

i use sound forge (...wave lab is good too )
here s a tutorial for it:
http://www.infected-mushroom.net/Studio/Html/Kickdrum_Tutorial.htm
eq:
- raise around 90 ( depends on your bl ) and 2000
- reduce around 300
only small compression ( high tresh, low ratio )
--> take care on attack/release, not too short.
good luck
  experiment !
make it your motto day and night.
experiment,
and it will lead you to the light.
the apple on the top of the tree
is never too high to achieve,
so take an example from eve...
experiment ! |

I like to use samples from 909 kicks and then boost them in soundforge... then I compress them with the dbx266, pounding! |
