Which software is better to make one kick good? E to make one bass?????

try to make kick with waldorf attack but I don´t obtain a good kick . Maybease I need a compressor or a filter to give more weight in a kick. What they recommend to me?

i use sound forge (...wave lab is good too )

here s a tutorial for it:
http://www.infected-mushroom.net/Studio/Html/Kickdrum_Tutorial.htm

eq:

- raise around 90 ( depends on your bl ) and 2000
- reduce around 300

only small compression ( high tresh, low ratio )
--> take care on attack/release, not too short.

good luck           experiment !

*Some of these links may have changed.

just look here on this section their are loads and loads of people giving advice on how to do a good kick.

I do my kick in soundforge as well, I reckon it is the best way, that I found so far.

also a program called stomper is quite good.           "Great things are only possible with outrageous requests." Thea Alexander

I like to use samples from 909 kicks and then boost them in soundforge... then I compress them with the dbx266, pounding!
