I would like to know the opinion of the trance comunity about this matter. What do we need to improve in our festivals? What is lacking? How is the organization doing? Are the prices fair for what we get? What shall the producers worrie about next time? Share your experience about it...

In my opinion the Line Ups of the Brasilians festivals are just KIllaahhhhh( we can still flower up the chill out...), but the organization still needs to improove a lot. Good and neat bathrooms , camping facilities, and abundance of potable water(cause no one can pay 2,3 bucks everytime we wanna drink it)are some of the main lacks(no at all of the festivals I´ve say)that I´ve found...

agree. its very hard to start playing if u dont have the conections... But the line ups have been very good on the parties, ive to say. At least in Brasilia, they are always tryin to bring some one that havent played yet...

I think the organization is getting better each time, except the probls with how to keep the bathrooms clean (most important for women ) that still the same shit.

in my opinion, there's a lot o problems to be solved in our parties. (not all problems in all parties...)

1. lack of trash cans! this is HUGE problem. and often I listen the organization: "we clean everything after the party". what about the dancefloor full of cans, bottles e trash? it's terrible to dance and gives the party bad energy...
but in the other hand: tribe for example. 10.000 people, dozens of trash cans (good job!) but all the trash on the floor. lack of education is not in organization's control

2. beer and water prices! come on, we all know that the bar gives lots of money in parties. pay 3 bucks for beer, 2 or 3 bucks for water or soda is nonsense.

3. chill out area. it's improving, but I'd love to see it as good as the dancefloor.

but in my opinion the BIG problem is that trance in brasil is becomming POP. too much parties in POP places, produces making money not thinking about the movement as something bigger... and this attitude put lots of people in the party, but most of them don't like trance, they like to party. (and in raves there's beautiful people, drugs, drinks and total freedom, what this kind of stupid people have never seen)

I think artists should be aware that there are some party organizers here that just can't be trust. They're not professional.

Universo Parallelo: Tikal guys left at Rio de janeiro without flight tickets and the organizers disappears.

Level Djs & Club A: Promoted Triptych Live (his name was in all flyers) and cancelled it in the last moment twice.
In another party, at Campinas, Sesto Sento Live was replaced by a DJ set with a broken mixer.

Broken Toy's laptop is broken at the party:

There are more examples of shit party organizers disrespecting artists.
Of course Brazil is a great place to play, but you must be aware of the organizers you're dealing with.
There are also very good organizers, you should ask other artists for good references.

Trash on the ground, lack of bathrooms, etc, are problems to be solved too.
Respect!

Good to here from u guys. NO consciense, no deal. Thats for sure. Im going to solaris this year and i wanna see how good its gonna be. Lets not dirt our dance floor, lets leave it clean and smooth....ehehehehe. Good point Balde. U see, i just want to see the beer for 2.5 and the water for 1.5 reais. UI can by a bber(as good as the one they buy on the fests) for 90 cent, why do thjey wanna have a profit of more than 300 percent. Over the water its even worse.(u buy water for 30 cents and sell it for 2 its moe than 600 percent, not believable). I have to say that girls really care more about bathrooms, but we, guys, like good bathrooms too. I dont like to have to shit standing. That sucks...ehHHEHEHEhe.
Bad producers...Thats a problem that happens all the time. Ive to go with u. Only trust the ones recomended.
Yeha brothermen, we have to improve. Maybe some organizer are reading this and are abble to make better festivals for us and for them...I hope so.

Peace...

Hey dude, how do u think they pay the artists, the spot, sound system, etc etc etc?? They HAVE to get some profit from the bar, parking lot, whatever to cover the festival!! The money from the tickets surely isnt enough. Of course they keep some for themselves, but to put together a line up like this, must be REEAALLY expensive!! And the costs of a big festival as solaris just go on and on...
I think water at 2 is fair enough... But hey, u can buy things outside, its allowed.

just a week to go...
