I see this side for the first time.But there are so many sides with the same tempo of hacked releases,I believe much faster than this,you cannot count it - sides located on all continents.
This is the truth of this times and especialy about this scene.
Probably since almost a decade.

you know whats sad is when a label spends so much and tries to be as active as possible to promote the psy culture and artists making hardly any money, these guys take the releases and are first to let it out for FREE....
but wow!! look at the stats on the number of downloads.... Ektoplasm is doing a great job of releasing VA's and Albums meant to be released for FREE to promote artists but these guys are amazing.... lol...
Just imagine converting all those downloads to actual sales, Im sure it would help labels make some money or at least break even :S
I would love to know where these releases get leaked from... especially when only the mastering engineer and distribution company have access to ALL high quality files / music for a particular release.....
Is there any way of auditing the distribution companies?

How to remove your copyrighted material from the hosting services:
1. Every service has a way to report abuse- some email- f.e. abuse@rapidshare.com, other through a form (like here: http://depositfiles.com/en/tickets/?abuse)
You can find these usually at the bottom, or as part of the FAQ or TOS (terms of service).
2. Send them the following text
Dear Sir/Madam,
Please note that my copyrighted release/material- enter release/s name here- is available for illegal download courtesy of your services in the following links:
enter relevant link/s here
Courtesy of the following pirate website:
enter relevant link/s here
The use of the copyrighted materials described above on the allegedly infringing web pages is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that I am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Please update me on the removal of the material at once, or I will be forced to take legal action.
enter your full name, address, webpage & phone number here
They all, including the Russian ones, remove your material once you've written them. It make take a day or two, but it is always removed. Pretty simple.

Good advice Shahar, I have found adopting a similar tactic works sombunal of the time, in getting people to take-down illegal copies of my videos.

you may get it removed from one site...but the files already in the cyberspace so if not there then somewhere else...
if you read about the story of Greatful Dead you will see that they created a fan base because their music was only available initially through pirated cassettes...to get hands on it one had to really look for it...when there was Greatful Dead concert, the fans were there for the music and would pay the price for ticket...music is about performance...if you are confident about your music this should not bother...the mainstream music is unable to compete with this..no amount of protection or threat can stop a pirate from getting hands on what he/she them desire...the mass production of cds and files makes music a product than a form of art..when a painter makes a painting he or she makes only one piece, if he made multiple pieces it would not longer be a painting it would be a billboard..the idea is to find a connoisseur...imagine if Picaso or Dali made 5,000 copies of their paintings or if Mozart made 50 million recordings and was going to sell them at $10 a piece...
yeh you may have your thoughts about how to commercialize on your art ...but let the people decide how much its worth dont tell them its so and so...everyone knows the cost of production has nothing to do with the selling price...most of the added costs are packaging related...art is priceless and the job of an artist is not to sell the number of pieces but to find that one patron, that one individual who believes in the work of the artist..dont expect to make money by selling colored original copies cause that model is failing big time..make music if you love it unconditionally that means expecting no monetary gains only applause should be satisfying...if you want to make money join an advertising company and make jingles

And yet it is up to the copyright owner to decide what he wants being done with his copyrighted material. And this is how you do it.

There are 3 main reasons why pirates get the music before the official release:
1. an artist gives his music to someone who can't be trusted
2. someone at the label gives the music to someone who can't be trusted
3. mastering engineer gives the music to someone who can't be trusted
Pirates neither can magically get the release out of AiR, nor they can anyhow synthesise the release. So please be carefull with people who you work with. It is possible, for example, my album was ripped a month after the release.

The pirate networks always have the releases at release date or significantly before that in many cases. Imho most of the time it works how Makus said...if you really don't want anyone to have the music for free, don't give it to anyone you don't trust 100 percent...the music doesn't magically appear there does it?
In many cases releases are leaked intentionally to attract attention within the scene. However this is meant to stay with a limited number of people, and not show up for commercial purposes... That is reducilous and needs to be stopped.
