How do you use a video projector ?

Lets say you're playing a set on traktor and you wanna use visualization fx through a video projector.
So...where do you send the sound output?Do you use the input of another pc running some kind of visual fx program and projecting the result?
What's the way to do it people?

your question contains the answer... but u can put both on the same computer too, if u don't mind the loss of cpu-power |

hehe yes fregle...but any opinions on programs that handle visual fx would be more than welcome + some info on how to use them..the only one i know so far is winamp and even though it does well,it's not dedicated to visuals.
As for using the same pc no i wouldn't do it that way mainly because of cpu power loss or bigger propability of system failrure

well... i was asking myself the same question for a few months now... I'd like to know if there's a program that can open and use milkdrop, but that puts milkdrop on the audio in or out instead of on what comes out of winamp. |
