oh dear oh dear why must all forums end up like this? (1) skazi, mate, you wanna watch that spelling, its GUYS not GAYS (im not normall picky, but this one could cause some offence if people dont realise what you meant)
(2) i have an AN1X, and its a brillian synth, but project, the CS1X and AN1X might look the same, but are different types of synths. cs1x is wavetwable, an1x is analogue modelling, theyre for a completely different market. however, as they do cost the same i would personally recommend the an1x over the cs1x anyday, provided the person is not starting from scratch, and already has the ability to do all the things that the cs1x is frequently used for (ie: becos it has onboard drums, synth, and GM sounds like piano, etc. someone with no other gear can make tracks from scratch) thats why some people prefer the cs1x to an1x
and as to hihat sounds, u could use your an1x to create some with white noise and stuff (i do this, but i rarely use these sounds) |

Why did I buy the CS1x? Because I have nothing else. AN1x is good if you already have some stuff... |
