its like a build up but then falls right in to your face?
any help would be greatly appreciated
i mean elaborate how the reverse fade in is done in technical terms

hm,
dunno, as far as i remember its just some usual build up (driving synapses crazy by golden rays n stuff ), fade out gain while LP filtering with freq. goin down (slight respnance, filtering on the whole track, i like autofilter in ableton i.e. doin kinda that stuff), break with smashin kick n crash or stuff, long bass note reversed or pitched up while filter opening (bass filtering) back down to settings and note....and.....BANGGGHHHHääälLÄÄÄÄÄÄNGGGG in ya face
just had a listen few hours ago, connection sucky and wont reload it, but this is what i remember..... feel free to correct me if im wrong on that, but guess it was at least particularly like that.... great guy, great production, love that swiss stuff.....
for doin kinda that effect, just create a build up feeling by pitch shifted sweeps or stuff (long note, automate pitch goin up or set lfo to modulate pitch, or just use an envelope, 1000´s of ways doin that riser stuff, let the whole track go like that, so each synth and stuff raises in pitch, opens the filter etc. blahblah), while it is shiftin up automate the gain of the track/channel goin down, break with kick/crash at full volume smashin in, bass note like mentioned above, reversed thingy or pitch and filter shift. everything you hear reversed just needs to be reversed. and zack, crackle bOom track goes on with another story or old story with new chapter.....

ah i can't load it now
but anyway
- take a loop of the beat, only open hats and snare(i think thats the stuff that was there)
- export in wav
- reverse it (there should be a button 'Reverse')
- then automate(i hope u know how) the volume to fade in it means turn it up slowly this is called fade in
- add again automation but to lowpass filter and again from closed state(means u hear nothn) open it and shut the filter down.
for the bass
- take one ounce of bass
- turn on the glide/slide on just untill the sliding sounds good
- pick the right note to start the slide from
- than take one note up very fast up and slowly put put notes so it will get down ,down and stop where you hear the wooo is correct
- there is another way to do if the bass is wav and not midi and is to pitchshift it with an envelope

what i do is with vb1(comes out killer with it ) i bounce a long note. (mostly low notes for such dark-ish tracks) and then load that WAV in a sampler..then reversing it and applying a Stereo Enhacer to it, i often change the EQ and velocity of that bounced was in the sampler. so by putting this pattern at the end of the a loop or such can create that killer sensation of blank space..with this WuuuuM stereo-ized bass coming on right onto ur face with a rude mood.
ive done this for example in this track @ 4:41-4:42 minutes / 3:49-3:50 (maybe its hard to get with the poor mp3)
i used this trick few times in the track..also in my other track "Koozer Mox - Damaged Sensory Input"
