So as a newbie in music production I feel motived to start a track (just started my new one) But quickly I feel unmotivated when comes the part to start creating leads and pads, either its not psychedelic enough,or it sounds shity.
Usually i spend 1 or 2 weeks in this section, creating, tweking trying new things, automations, etc etc...
After this section,i start working on the arrangment of the song until the final lead comes.... 1 or 2 weeks. tweaks here, filters over there.
I tend to become bored of my sound, because it sucks compared to other artists.
At this point I still have no melodic leads or whatsoever,my cubase is closed and i come here to listen to other peoples songs, see tutorials, read the aciduss posts on how to make leads ...
Cling* Ideas start to poping, cubase is opened again i start to compose my melody.

Now im feeling happy again, and start do add more elements, samples, etc etc

The track is finished and I move on, happy with my life and my results.

Just wanted to share this with you guys...

And since this section is about production and music making.

i'll leave here my new track(intro only):

Leave your opinion, and tell me what you think about it in a "technical way".

Sorry for my bad english

Maybe you need to start looking at things in another way, you say you feel bored when it comes to write down your leads, pads and atmos, perhaps you get bored cause you're overthinking things, you should let the track almost talk for itself, what you sould do is pretend you're a road builder, you're at the starting point, wich means you have nothing, no intro, etc.. You should be planning the looks of your road about 20 m in front of you, in another words, look 20 seconds ahead of you and imagine what your track could have, and you should only advance to the next 20 seconds when you feel like you're track is already killing in those first 20 sec, (you shouldn't go by 20 seconds, go for longer bars, like 1 min).. all i'm tryin to say is don't start making plans for the future if you're not sure about what you have already on your track
(you said when the final lead comes, when you say that you're already limiting your construction)

that happens to me too and i bet it also happens to other dudes as well, my favourite artist is without a doubt "Frozen Ghost", he is the kind of artist i want to become, i don't want to make tracks like he makes, but i want to be able to do those fucking twisted master pieces like he does, but i'm currently happy about that, cause i've put so much effort onto a track of mine, and i can hear shift, frozen ghost (different styles btw) etc etc and i don't feel sad about my music, i feel happy, cause i enjoy listen to other artist's tracks, and my own tracks

i could just written all that in portuguese but at least this way other people can know what i'm saying, and if you want, we can talk over msn or pm, your choice, i can probably try to show you some ways to make you not bored when you're building up your tracks

Peace

And I cant come up with none of that... maybe i'm lacking in music theory or a midi keyboard...dunno

go to settings, signature, place there the link to your account;

but mate, those coming up artists are probably older artists in production and they only now released a good album or the first one or somethin like that, you don't need music theory or a midi keyboard to get ideias to your own songs, by the looks of it what you need (imo) is a make over in your m.o.

one month? LOL

seriously, it took me 2 YEARS to produce a track that i don't laugh about when i listen to it now. others may be quicker than me, as i work slowly and have limited time to devote to music production, but there's no way that you can expect making a near professional sounding track just one month after starting music production.

if there is a urge and a will you can do whatever you want

Dont Compare!! Right now be a baby, please for all of our sake and most of all your own

To me it sounds like you try and not be a baby, this will take away your identity and your well of inspiration and creativity.

Be a baby! and have fun, be frustrated, and explore your world as it is, and of course learn new things as they come..
