Can anyone tell us how exactly you do that with dblue glitch? I've played with it alot and can't exactly get what i want out of it, seems very hard to control for some reason.

I've wanted to know how to do this forever and I've read alot of threads about it but no one ever says the technique .

I've resorted to just cutting up audio + pitch bend..but doesn't work too well imo...

well when glitch plays randomly sure it might give unwanted results. satisfaction comes with controling the glitch work. first of all i turn the probability of each effect to 0%, then i program a pattern with needed effects in a line (i place the effect i want to its place where i want), then i tweak the effects themself. after that i can automate some knobs to reach the aimes i need.
i don't really like when i listen to a track and can say "hey, there glitch was used" that's why i try to program my patterns to hear the effect itself, the result, but not the work of the plugin.
actually i can say that about most of the plugins and effects.

If I wanted to try that on dblue glitch, I would switch the bypass to ON, so it doesn't glitch anything, until we get to the spot you trigger the yummy sandwich sample, turn bypass OFF, just before, then dblue glitch should have a long STUTTER effect triggered... then you automated the length of the stutter from long to short, and then to long again?

It might turn out that dblue would be shit for that, it's really better at stuttering shorter things, like 16th notes long or so.

When I use dblue I only ever keep it the bypass off for a second or so, and I think I only ever really use tapestop and stutter.
