it depends on what kind of fx you want to make. i personaly use a lot of VAZ and editing in soundforge. |

well, in reason u have a lot to choose from, even if it seems like a small amount of effects. after you set up your mixer (put it first in the rack). and your subtractor/redrum machine, just right click an empty space on the rack and set up your effects (reverb, flanger/chorus etc.,) and from there play on with them. tweak untill u get the results u need.
in fl3, well, it's kinda hard getting good sound from fruity, but u have many effects to choose from, with many presets, so just tweak there (and make sure you got each sound you wanna set as effect to get a seperate channel).
