there is something wrong it resonate too much, what processing chain you used on the bass?imo no need to fix it,we could tell you to clean a bit the low mids and add more in the mids high but better you remove all the processing chain , the source itself should be cleaner but it all dpeends what kinf of sound you are after ,it s a lot about taste so ...if you want more help maybe uplaod same sample but without any processing on the bass or just the sidechain if you used one .i hope you dont take it rude man ,i guess you could make already a track and release it on some labels with a bit of cleaning but it won t be killer production

also i don't think the kick n bass fit perfectly with eachother. Choosing another kick that fits better might solve your problem.           soundcloud.com/supergroover

eq them together not separately. The can sound shit if singled out but not if they are together.

Hey! thanks for your words... it is not my objective to release anything yet. I know i still have a long way to go.

The kick is bazzism so i'll tweak it a little bit more and use your advice to create a new render that i'd may post on this weekend.

I don't have a particular bassline style in mind, i just wan't them to fit and have nice edge (clickery sound).

Cheers!

it s easier and faster to know where you re going ,just my point of view but try to load a kick bass of a track you like in your sequencer and a/b and tweak to get something close, after few minutes of tweaking your ears get used to some mixing mistake, the file loaded in your sequenceur will always remind you how thing should sound,it s like having back fresh ears every time you listen to it
