my question is :
Do u like to listen the full album at once and put the whole album in ur playlist?
or
you make a playlist of your selected artists/tracks from different albums ?

it usually starts off with what mood im in. From there i just scroll through and pick what i'd like to hear.

Yeah, I know what you meant trip_on_acid, Jester and me were just joking you a bit 
Anyway, I almost always select tracks when I play music on my computer.
I only listen to complete albums or compilations for the first few times - after that I usually only select the favourites from the cd.
Also, when my friends arrive, sometimes I create a playlist and put it on "random".

With so much music around, I rely on my MP3s all the time... I have every CD in my collection encoded, tagged, and filed in a database that I can then select from by artist, album, BPM, key, whatever. Helps to sort out mix planning as well oh and Winamp 2 (with the media library) really helps too!

as for me i like to separate va's from albums.in case of va's i keep all trak 1 from diff compilations and listen to them...same for trak 2&3 so on.in thatway the build up is always on the uprise and doesnt do a zig zag and intrupt the rush..... |

If its a new bunch of tracks that i havent heard yet, then its as an album or va at once but otherwise it depends on my mood |
