how do u judge the sound quality...cause i hear many people hear a unique lead sound and say the artist has amazing sound level whifh is to my opinion very wrong cause his lead messed up the bassline and took control over the hihats
so my wat of judging and i think it is the prfessional way of judging sound level its to try to listen to every ide in the tracka alone i mean if there is lead running and fx on it and lots of loops if u can try and foollow only the fx u wont have any other sounds disturbing them running around in the track or when the lead meloddy is twisting around i can still listen carefully to any bass games that the artist has made
that a good sound quality
???how do u??? |

i think its something that cant really be explained because each person has a different view of what things should sound like.
My advice to you is : trust your own ears. |

Man like you said, in your own track in the creation process follow each sound everytime and check when it gets distored or making unwanted noises,
also use LP and HP filters, for example cut the pads in 80-180 for example, sharp some frequencies and ofcourse use compression.
peace,
