Short and to the point thanx , now that i have u here i'll take the the chance to ask if u start with a BIG reverb on the pads and leads u want reverbed, i'm asking u this because i'm listening to VA-Destinations 2 track Disco Slave by Motion Drive ,and everything seems very reverbed with automations on volume and very nice stereo effects, and this when it is just beggining
thanx

Sounds to me like there is a sidechain involved like medea is saying.

Perhaps a dr.device or similar effect to make the wha wha feeling?

Oh if you are talking about the constant off-beat pad thing that everybody is doing atm. then yeah, it is mostly done by sidechaining pads/swoushy stuff to the kick...

Remember to get >Stereo< sidechaining up and running if you want it to be... erhhmm... -well, stereo!

Regarding reverbs etc. I just add reverb if I think the sound is too dry/rough. -And if i want to make very cheesy melodical synth themes that float around on pink clouds..

http://www.sendspace.com/file/2gogm1 is it that? ( sound better with a beat )

Freeflow if it s the effect i posted their might be some other way to do it but with the side chain filter (used the one in ableton ) it take 2 minutes.
