how do i save a preset i create in nord lead 2 inside the project im doin in ableton live ?

is there a way to do that like u do with the vsts ?
i mean when i load the project it will load the correct sounds i created for that project.

you will have to name and save the patches in your nord lead, but you can use program change commands in your daw to change them.
i'm not too familiar with the structure of the nord lead, but normally you can choose different commands for multi change, bank change and program change, according to what you want.
your nord lead manual will help you! |

Dump the single patch you want saved with your project and record the sysex into ableton (press record first, then press dump). Best is of course to do this at the very beginning of your project before any other data starts reading. No need to save the patch in the nord first and do program changes. If it works like it does in logic the patch should be dumped to the part you dumped it from. Take a look in the manual of live to see what they have to say about midi dumping just to make sure they actually support it. It´s a somewhat ancient but still very useful way of doing it.

like said before: save the sound(s) on your nord lead.
in logic i just record the program change via midi: activate the right track in the sequencer, hit rec and manually change the program in the corresponding slot (A-D) on the nord lead. fast and easy.
