because i like to mess around wit a synth for a long time and have sum of the stuff i made while doing it saved as audio so i can use it later  |

so why not just jam with the synth in the app u use with the record enabled as long us u want and even have the automations recorded so be able to fine tune some parts of it and use it whenever u want?
i really dont get the point of making your life harder.
about fl and cubase do not forget u can use wavelab as the audio editor straight inside the application. http://www.landmark-recordings.com/
