| I know you can say it is all a matter of taste, but subjectively the bottom end from the Vb1 is and you need loads of EQ to get it up there + no EQ and compressor can make the Vb-1 sound good...if you amplify/compress shit sound, you get shit sound amplified/compressed.
I've thought about it and heard it a lot and the Vb-1 plug-in is utter bull if you ask me...but again it is all taste...
Why would you use hardware to "emulate" the Vb-1 is what I do not understand... |

Ppl there is so many sounds and synths to make basses from.. so why for christ sake going to the same one all the time.. Use your imagination.. the whole beauty in electronic music is, that there is no need to make same thing twice, just because there is innumerable possibilities and variations - u have got so many different sounds for bass and still - How can I make my VB1 sound like XXX?

Yuli's right. try these synths for basslines. belive me, you'll never want to touch the vb-1 again. ever:
Albino, Tau, Tau Pro, Muon-Atom, refx's Plasticz!, muon electron, fm7, pro53... many, many more.

Hi
I'm so glad to read that there are people like yuli and nectarius who also see, that there is nothing new comming anymore...
My little add on:
If the bassline isn't the center of the music anymore there is even much more possibility for new things...
The electronic possibilitys are much more than just basslines ;-)
Why think so much about the the basslines... just take any bassline who fits to the rest of the music... if there is a "rest of the music" ;-)
Maybe ppl concentrate so much on the basslines because they have a lack of inspiration for the "rest of the music" ? Most of my music for you to download at:
