yes, you can try to build one of those wooden diamond shaped things... and then fill it with strings in the way i've shown above.

i have very dificult in find fluor strings.
i have tried some shops, sometimes they have, sometimes they don´t. sometimes they have 1 colour, ....
anybody from porto, portugal knows where to buy good fluor strings?
or there is any web site where i can buy it?

Funny... i was a long time not on this Forum, and today, i was thinking to visith it agian...
So, this spiral (you mean that thing with the red ring... rigth?) it was done like a "dream catcher"... i can not exactly say how to do, becaus it is not my work.
So, mayby, you find somthing in the "world wide web" about "dream catcher"...

pretty much everything i have seen so far was based on wooden frames, only in israel did i see the same principle on plastic rails... but how about drilling holes in a hula-hoop ?
tip: don't use wool, it's to fragile, use thin fluo rope that will break less easy and allow you to transport/take apart your structure without damaging it (depends if you want disposable deco, or deco for a lifetime)

Hey there My name is Jaime, I am a resident artist/DJ for Psy-Planet and Am-Psy...and I do all kinds of string art/fluro deco in the Philadelphia and New York area trance scene. I am currently creating artwork and string art for the Gaian-Mind summer festival. It's a four day long non-stop trance music blasting festival. But as far as for finding books to create string art...well you kind of have to travel back in your mind to school for it... its all about geometry and measurements...
