you need to play with velocity of bass, and also with envelope, also the last bass note is too repetitive, might want to shorten it here and there.. make it more interesting.
sharpen your bass a little, add some bite to it,there are lots of things you can do. including some interesting eq.
also hard to tell at this point because nothing else is playing on background, its not how kick n bass sound on their own as much but how they sound in the mix.
ideally what you want to do is to have the mids of your bass to be very brief and fat bottom end.

I got the best help and understanding by reading some of cosmosis intel on the subject. He have a video series called "bassline secrets" that is really good. So I recommend U to pick that up on his homepage right away
After seeing that videoseries I got a better understanding faster by looking and doing. The slower way is by reading and doing. The slowest way to learn is just by tweaking without knowing what the parameters are doing and how your bass will be effected. All 3 ways are good becuase they will get U to your goal, the Q's is how fast U want to get there. (just my personal opinion)
Now to your bass. I personaly find it very harsh sounding like that there is no filter envelope adjusting the sound. It could be just the mp3 screwing the frequencies up but I think the bass is overlapping with it self as well. Try adjusting the note lenghts.
Always play with velocity. And a common thing is to tweak your bass synth with velocity to cutoff filter.
I'm not a pro on bass and I'm also tweaking like crazy Just keep on tweaking and you'll get there sooner then U think

That explains the release time I was writing about earlier. Muon tau have a long release time, and to make it work better for you. Sample individual notes and play them with a sampler like kontakt. Or shorten the note lenghts to extremes like 64ths.
My opinion is to use a synth like sylenth1 or my favorit bassmaking rompler Trilogy. I really never use muon tau but try this as a starter :
-play the bass in the 2nd octave region, for example f2.
- have a simple pattern with 64ths as note leanghts, like KbbbKbBbKbbbKbBb (K is kick, b is f2, B is f3)
- I gave tau a try for 5 minutes. Try this if u don't like to change vst.
.cutoff around 20 procent
.just a little of velocity cutoff control. I used around 3 - 6 procent
.eg mod to 0- 100. I used 10 procent
. eg decay to your liking, why not 100 procent I used 50 - 100 ms, I liked that more
. you can also raise the accent level after your own taste. I used a small setting of only 15 procent. U might like up to 100 or 0.
- play more with velocity with your midi
- play more with note lenghts, but I wouldnot go over some accented note lenghts than 32ths.
- Now put some eq on and cut below 30 hz. a small dip where the kick sits.
This settings can be a starting point for you. It's a raw example with a touch of old school space tribe if you where to place some closed hats on every 16ths and an offbeat hihat, and snares with a reversed snare before the last hitting snare in a 2 bar loop.
Don't take these settings to seriously and tweak your own settings that will sound better than this 5 minute experimentation with the tau I had. I do recommend you to use another bass vst. But that's just my opinion
Don't get me wrong you can get really nice basslines with the muon tau, but other synths will give you more envelope options.
Please check the date on that post Many better synths have been made for basslines during that time. But if you are looking for the basslines a couple of years ago, then muon tau is the answer on many basslines out there. And no better one to explain the tau than Mike A's post
But mainly I think Trilogy/Trillian and Sylenth 1 is more popular now days.
