Go to your local musicstore and ask there! They usually have proggs like recycle, cubase, re-birth and all of those!

Well, just start out with www.maz-sound for freeware, shareware (at least you'll get a feel for what applications you want), and samples.
You can either buy or pirate software according to what you need or recommendations.
I wouldn't recommend impulse tracker though, it's FUCKING HARD to get any high quality sound out of it. |

u can try the "generator" or "buzz 2"...
for audio they r nice... u can get rwaly good sound with them |
