if you're searching for the 303 sound you can try the audiorealism bassline (303 emulator)... there's a new 303 emulator that's supposed to be better but i don't know the name.. search for 303 in topic text in this forum to find them out. |

oh ! dark ! if you want dark try a FM synth... you have Native Instruments FM7, DiscoDSP Discovery, Synth1 (free)... albino has fm too but i don't understand it.
to get it check the mother of all leads topic. there's a post there by megalopsy explaining how to do a lead here http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/60062/forum/2/start/30 i never tried it but from what i know megalopsy is dark so it may be it
i'm not much into FM synthesis... it will be my next step in music production.
i think when he said rebirth is for 303 sound |

you can make yer won easily..and make it sound way better...i mean it does take a bit of experience with synthesising but try it out ...
get a vst like vanguard,junglist
find a cool synth and play around with the osc,amt..any filters on it really =) |

you can take a synth and do that:
Saw wave.
HP filter, 75% resonence.
modulate the pitch and play with the cutoff...

Could u tell me how do i modulate the pitch? I am almost sure that i am thinking wrong, anyway we are in a forum to learn, so Is it set the pitch wheel to the modulation depth what i should do to modulate the pitch?
Or is it just turn the pitch of the note beeing played randomly, or up and down maybe, you know.. Holp i was clear!

i think he means an LFO or a env controlling the pitch. you can do this in albino. |
