How do I get a good bite in my bass

For sum reason I hear a lot of basses with great bite but clear & subdued body.
Im using discovery - Gives great control over body and bite. Just cant seem 2 get that superstar sound.  |

i bet disco can get good bases not saying it cant but maybe try using a more bass specific plug with tight envelopes something like logic's synths or tau or trilogy or vb1 etc etc. u will be surprised how a good sounding simple osc and envelope can do the trick.
