try matrix seq
  experiment !
make it your motto day and night.
experiment,
and it will lead you to the light.
the apple on the top of the tree
is never too high to achieve,
so take an example from eve...
experiment ! |

hey
i dont know if thats what you mean, but i think you do got gate effects in reason.. kind of it
create "digital reverb" device
push up/down strings at left, until you come to "gated"
personally i dont use this device almost never, as medirium said - i prefer matrix for gating sounds..

You have the right idea with using the volumes and automating them. I automate the volume level directly on the synth. Try using smaller quantinizations. Use 32nds and 64ths but don't make the volume change real hard and abrubt. Draw it out so that the first part of your curve is at full volume and it gradaully fades down for each note to like volume 64 or lower depending on what you need. If you do it at a snap of 64ths it will have a smoother sound to it. Adjust the curve so that it sounds how you need it to sound. If you don't understand what I'm explaining I can send you an example.
It's moving so fast, it's standing still. |

ok, listen..
you have to press TAB to switch to the back side of the machines. then connect from the subtraktor LFO output to the the input on your voice channel
in the mixer. the lower input is for the pitch and the one above is for the amp. now all you have to do is to automate the lfo amount and adjust the amp amount. enjoy! |
