this is pretty good. I think its super creepy though how when they're interviewing someone there is another different person in the background. Seriously some dudes illuminated head is just looking out at you from the darkness in the left hand side while a lady is talking to you on the right hand side. freakin british people.
I like the one guys description of his methods "we use tape. we hit things, we shouted at things, we shook things, we recorded everything...and then we played about with it"

and yeah, that dude in the background is fucking creepy.

I think its awesome that the longstanding tradition of shitting on new methods of production started even way back then.
Pff, synths are cheating! REAL electronic composers use found noises and tape only ;P
AND WHO THE FUCK IS THAT GUY IN THE BACKGROUND!??! IS IT JUST ME OR IS IT NEVER EXPLAINED

Had a listen to your tracks also, good job man! did you program all your own sounds? some of those timbres are awesome! good job keep it up dude.

i worked with loops and samples that came in the fl 8 when i very first started.... haha is funny to think about really! XD i started off doing that in fl studios 8 demo in mid 2009.. i still use fl studios today... but my productions are getting better over time! still not great but its better then nothing! and its just that much more rewarding creating and using your own samples and synths sounds etc... even if they aren't all that great... still gives you the BEST feeling ever!!!!

There is a difference in being lazy and being effective. I personally can't manage with only 24 hours per day. We need more!

| Hahha 14 years??? lmao!
to me, psytrance is almost like a new genre hahaha!! i found some psytrance tracks in this torrentmap with trance tunes like.. 3 years ago, and it caught my attention at once, because there was something very special about it.
and i knew that very moment, what music i wanted to make when i had spare time.
now i do it fulltime
Pretty much all my sounds are made by me yeah! some are overtweaked presets as well, they don't really sound like their original preset sound, its just in case i find some potential in them i might use them, but usually its way more effective to make the sounds from scratch with a saw :3
EDIT: i really must say, i am pretty amazed by your music too. o:

I never got passed the noob-stage
Still looping 32 or 64 bars until I get tired of it and then build a new 32 or 64 bars loop.
It's a rather complex syndrome, which I refer to as 'noobititus'.

My friends introduced me to Psy trance 2 years back....I was a musician for since i was like 13 so naturally i wanted ot produce it since i loved it so much.I got a laptop and Fl Studio and watched some tuts on youtube but eventually it came together.I already knew music theory.Im still a noob compared to some i think.I dont know synthesis and use lots of presets but tweak them a lot to get what i hear in my head. The presets are there for a reason.A lot of what i use are crazy chords like 7#9 and mAdd13 and stuff like that so it doesnt like a reg. preset.I learned a lot from you guys and mostly just sat for hours at a time.I dont have a problem with loopitis or whatever you guys call it.My songs are a little wack and structured diff. than some Psy..i listen to Entropt and Tryambaka and Electrypnose but constantly always changing.I listened to their kick and basses to see how to fit it.I listened to where to and where not to put voice samples.I get my samples from youtube and cut them in Audacity or Edison(Fl)I use pre made kick and i like trippy high hat patterns because HH's make the song feel like its going.Um.......im still learning everyday. The best tip i would give someone is to learn your DAW in and out.Dont be afraid to use presets as long as you spice them up a bit.use chord changes.Change ur basslines at least one time in the song.Percussion adds a lot so learn it well. And as they here all the time if it sounds good..keep it.Peace
