Self-taught with the help of product manuals and production magazines:

Started off doing overdub recordings and pause-button edits with a cassette player when I was 13; then got into cassette 4-track recording a year or so later when I got my first synth, a Juno 6. Started collecting music production magazines when I was 16 (still going - and still got them all!) and progressed through 8-track (in my college studio) to MIDI and 24-track (as assistant producer in the local commercial studio) by the time I was 18. It all took a back-seat while I was doing my degree but after that I've been practising continually, and always learning new things either from discovering them myself or from people I've worked with or spoken to. Still a long long way to go!           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

Took cubase lessons for a while. Also had a friend that lended one of his old FL projects. Picked up a lot stuff about EQ and automation there and also a few tricks to getting very common sounds which are a little difficult to figure out unless you have a music background. No where close good production yet..someday perhaps!!!

I used a secret method to access The Book of Trance Magick(tm). In it you have to listen to a secret combination of trance records for 72 hours without interruption and then Saint Posford will appear with the book and initiate you into the Supreme Magick of Trance(tm).

You've got to remember to take plenty of acid for him with you, because he's known to have bad tantrums if apprentices approach the Saint without appropriate gifts.

dude my problem is every time st posford appears i do a sex wee in my pants... verry unproductive when taling to a Saint...

Clearly you are not ready to see the Supreme Truth of Trance(tm) yet. The Path(tm) is not for the easily disturbed. I suggest you go to see his earthly avatar a couple of times at parties and then try again to approach the Saint Form.           When rain dries, clouds form.

Well, I used to be the lead singer/guitar player of CEREBRAL COMA (beer sheva-Israel 1991-1994).
My neighbour was ZIV MATUSHKA from P.cok, Babaganooshka.

We hooked up for the intro of the Cerebral Coma- Coma retained demo in 1992.

After that we started to make some Industrial with the old good EPS 16+, when the PC was introduced we started to hook up our midi hardware, lots of keyboards, synths, Samplers and modules and to create some formed tracks.

Ziv already had back in the day a great experience with midi and sound.

So, it was a great time of electronic experiments.
