As so many others, I have no defined style yet (will I ever?) - all my tracks are different, and some call them progressive, others full-on, and morning-trance (a term that really disgusts me... What the H is that, anyway...?)
Do what you want, and you will begin to have a preferred way of working, which will in turn spawn your "style"
Zooter, please don't care too much about other people's tastes... It's about YOU, and what you want to do

listen to alot of different music , even for electronic musicians u can learn most of all of organic music i think, learn about musical arrangements and stories and then add ur own thing to the technical parts...and even more important just follow ur heart and emotions...will be quite original always..and still somehow people will recognize it cos its about emotions and we all share the same emotions from time to time
ill push u over the edge, and will be smiling when u cant take anymore, at that point ill push a little harder till u experience true psychdelica |

Just make your own music! Make what you think sounds right and automatically you have your own style... I don't think you will find your own style by deliberattely searching for it. It's not like it's something that's out there and to be found...

Zooter, you're right is completely your own choice - as long as you are happy with it
I have some friends who tried to be crowd-pleasers and lost every interest in the music itself. Now they don't make music anymore... |

Yeah I totally agree, there's no fun in trying to get it done for the crowd...
Do it for yourself...and I believe in the end the crowd will enjoy it more than a formula
Otherwise it won't have any feeling in it |

you already have your own style. the most you can do is develop it through effort. thinking omfgastrix is being lazy. |
