I agree a3k (sorry, still don't know your name!)
I often wonder the same thing. sometimes I feel musicians happen to catch a resonance that matches yours, at that moment, and it feels perfectly aligned with you (which is why that last thing you said in ps is significant).
Right now I have jazz streaming from a station and I don't know who it is, but it's the ideal soundtrack for what I'm doing now (working). Other times, I hear music where every note just fits my feeling exactly and it feels like a perfect taste of food or a perfect execution of a movement or spontaneous smile or laughter.
I don't know what we would do without these things, but they seem to be reminders that we are connected to some harmony in some way that makes living a very very satisfying thing. I love it.

Well bro, I just came back from a gig. It was a DJ Shadow and Kutiman live and oh boy. I was freaking blown away. It's getting so rare that I am being blown away by a new music...
Music for me, or a good music specifically is something that can disconnect you totally from your day to day worries. It's a great gift that not everybody really appreciates or is able to fully enjoy. This tune specifically I heard again over the last weekend. The rest of the Shpongle DVD is pretty good to very good but this tune has such a timeless feel to it and the delievery and the timing of the live version is just something really out of this world.
I always put Shpongle next to Pink Floyd as their true musical ancestors and this tune really delivers that unique something you know.. You just can't put in words.
Anyway I'm pretty smashed and not sure it even makes sense
Everyone in the world is doing something without me
music is supreme in various forms...and shpongle ya ... i mean wat can i say the tunes that come out - morning orgasmic shanti state of consciousness

I love to close my eyes, turn the volume all the way up and see what images music can create in my imagination.
My favorite activity since I was 5 to this day "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."

André, you should buy/get that Shpongle DVD where that clip is taken from. It's a very very beautiful concert (I was there in 2009, the year after that clip/DVD).
And to quote Psysex at 01:50; I digg music!
