Hi!

I want to know how I can save mixer automation tracks in cubase sx.

Imagine the following:

- I have a vst-instrument and an automation-track for the accordant mixer-channel (e.g automation for the eq 1 freq)

- Then I remove the vsti to save cpu-power. The accordant mixer-channel will also be removed automatically.

- Now I reload the vsti (e.g. to make some changes) and here comes the pain:

Of course a new automation-track for the vsti mixer-channel is created and the old automation (for the eq 1 freq) is lost :-( . And I`m not happy at all when I have to re-draw the automation each time i reload a vst instrument. So, do you have any idea how I can save the automation?

I hope you understand what I mean, unfortunately my cubase's language is not english ;-)

You're right, but instead of removing the VSTi, just turn it off.
