Hello guys this question may sound stupid
4 someone,but 4 me is not.
A friend of mikne told me that every
kind of music must have a apogee/climax
in his arrangement otherwise the this
piece of music will sound boring.
He told me this is know in art under the
expresion "the golden rule".
So i put all my measures in my track
and multiplicated them with 0.18
it gaves me the point where i have to place
the apogee it's almost in the 3/4
of every arrangement.
Here is my question ,what can i use
( what do u use )4 that ?
A part of your arrangement which u have separate from your old loop block or
something new ?

Some suggestions of what I see artists doing:
1. Use noisy instruments, not pure and calm.
2. Use a tense scale for the climax section.
3. Have a lot of energy with fast notes and multiple tracks interblending.
4. shift ur kick a little ahead of time so that it sounds more urgent.
5. add more punch with extra compression. (more attack on ur instruments or percs)
6. make it louder.(assumes u make the rest softer )
7. Possibly use triplets( always sounds more energetic 2 me somehow )
8. modify ur root 2 have a sudden motion at the climax with some cadential motion.(or even add a pad playing a resolving cadence at the end.)
9. increase the tempo.
Just some ideas.
It most probably is a new block that blends older ideas. or even new ones. up 2 u really. |

many tracks evolves towards the climax by adding more and more hats/perc and at some point just before this transforms into a chaotic noize mayhem you have something that could be a peak. then maybe you get ideas for extra synths and fx to compliment the rythms...
-or if it is Fullon. just make some cut up Shhhh noizes like everybody else does and add some extremly lame voice samples which has been used a million times before . nobody cares anyway aslong as your baseline is fast enough for the UV fullon people.

pick up the album:
spirallianz - blastfood album (spiritzone records) released 2000
its a prototype for arraning.
also: cosma - nonstop album (hommega) 2002?
additional:
many many many producers of today just arrange the tracks jerky and static, there is no liquid flow, like: intro - break - hit and run - break - hit and run - break - BOOOM - break - BOOOOOM - end
you can do it like that, or you now how to make it better.

Do what ever you want.
In the end the track has to work for you, thats all.
I, for myself, have always a climax in the end of my songs. I like that, and I personally find songs boring without a climax in the end.
But, in the end, you have to ask you self. Does the song work for you? If you want to express your self, you only have to ask, if it does express what you want to express. Maybe the climax is in the beginning, because your story is like that, and thats it.
An other point of view is simple. Something that HASN'T a climax, is FLAT. If you like that, it's ok.
I come from switzerland, where we have a lot of mountains, and I like it when it goes down and up all the time. So does my music.
Many psytrance of today has from a certain point of view no real climax. For example from an emotional point of view. A lot of psytrance is about tension. So there is a climax in tension and releasing the tension. From my (emotional) point of view there is no climax...
What I want to say is, that even if you do a climax, it's again a question of point of view if somebody sees that.
How can you do it?
I personally often do the most intense part of a song first. And then build the song up to this point.
If I don't start with the climaxt, I just go more intense and more intense till the feeling completly strikes me down. This is the climax and I build the arrangement to emphasise that point.
