...there is...one card in the agp-slot n the other in the pci. though i guess it s better to have "2 in 1" ( less driver, less hum, less problems ).

Also, if you have a laptop you can use it as a second monitor. There's a program called MaxiVista that does this; the demo is free and runs for a limited time - the full version is only $45 or something like that. The program uses a network connection to do its magic - and it really does work. You can still use the laptop for other programs at the same time, and use normal Windows key commands to switch between the second display and eg. VSTack or Moog Modular or whatever else you are using your laptop for.

If connecting a TV is an option you may want a card with S-Video output.
If connecting LCD monitor is an option you may want a card with DVI ouput.
