how big is psytrance israel?

just how big is psytrance in israel? is it played in certain clubs or is mainstream rave/club house and trance the norm. i've seen pictures of festivals that looked mad! but here in the u.s. there is really only the rave seen and even that is different than say u.k.'s rave scene. more hmmm gritty (at least the proper ones), though it is becoming more commercial. are any psytrance events happen in california this month? anyone know?

It is much different in Israel, cause in Israel TRance is like what Hip Hop is in the U.S.
If you looking for parys in the L.A. area, there are many, Yahel and Infected might come there soon(I know it cause I know the orginizer). |

Idan, that's a bit too far.
Trance in Israel is big. It's sold in every record store in the country, we have a lot of parties (especially outdoors, where the heart of the scene is, but in clubs too). It's still underground (the police are trying to bust every party they can, unless they're allowed to search freely and so on), and it's not as popular as mainstream music. More than that, today the popularity of House / Club Trance / Deep Trance has surpassed that of psytrance, but it's still going very, very strong.
If you take away all of the mainstream / Sasha / Tiesto style music at parties (which is the most popular), then psytrance would be the #1 party music in Israel. That's the reason we have so many artists - it's the #1 underground music of Israel, by far. |

Trance is very popular in Israel, although you right, the club scene is bigger, Trance survived for more than a decade(how long do you think Tiesto will servive).
Its must mean something, because you know that in Israel people get sick of things after a while.
