I talk about the main leads, pitching screaming rapid bursted classic dark / hitek psy like.

0:26 for example, also 0:32 you know it is pretty common but i cannot recreate precisely. I have come closed to the result using portamento synths with hp filters but there is something missing.

Anyone wanna help?

My vote also goes for discovery, init patch, FM-osc1-2 - osc2 pitch
Random lowpass for waveform on Lfo
rate more than half...
also sounds like more Lfo than what you get on this setting... so the trick is in the lfo..... also some chorus.....
man you have to experiment...

If you own a nordlead you can use it...

yeah discovery make it but in albino is easy

Osc1 connect Filter1 --- Octave -2
Osc 2 connect FM Mode --- Octave 1,2,3 or 4 ...

got it, thank you guys... used synth1 and worked like a charm. also works if pitchbend is automated / recorded... you can controll the sound better than with random lfo... also render and chop is madness with this sounds.

Yeah i was going to suggest synth1, but discovery sometimes sounds a little cleaner, but i do love synth1.. its been my favorite for years... so many whack sounds one can create with it... how you seen it has a oscilloscope which is way cool to look at while you tweak! hehe

I preffer synth1 over disco because of simplicity i find very hard to edit multilayer programs in discovery.

btw how do u get the oscilloscope????

Sorry i'm a noob but i do what you say in albino :
Osc 1 saw oct -2 -> F1 (cream, LP)
Osc 2 saw oct + 2 -> FM F1

And i don't get that sound at all. What did i wrong ?

mistake sorry

This example is for G# notes in C1

Osc1 connect FM --- Octave -1
Osc 2 connect F1 --- Octave 2, but also try 3 or 4

in Filter1 choose Cream-HP and cutoff between 700 and 2000 for different osc2 octaves

Note: In video is made by Lfo cutoff sync, and here dont use lfo so is not same, just similar...u also can do it in albino but try learn how it works first

When you say "osc1-2 FM" what are the waveforms that should be used ? And with discovery do you mean LFO FM on both osc or osc 1 FM osc 2 ?

in lfo way just use one oscilator, and connect lfo to the cutoff filter and set the tempo

Just thought I'd share something similar.

http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2915102           "Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth."
Neo: "What truth?"
Spoon Boy: "There is no spoon."
