How are these amps for the bm6?

Hi,
I have doubts of purchasing an amp for my Dynaudio bm6.
The doubts are between :
1) Crown STUDIO amps from Macro-Tech series like the 1200 (second hand).
2)A new Crown amp type xls202 (PA amp) .
both of them is around the same cost.
I would love to hear your opinions and even hear about more amps you recommend.

same cost? Since Macro-tech is second hand as you noted.
Crown are good amplifiers.
For studio monitors, I wouldn't choose an amp designed for a PA system. It is possible of course, but remember that Crown are a bit expensive, for its name and design history.
I would get the Macro-Tech for the Dynaudios.
 Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

well, i think the K amp's from Crown will do the trick for the BM6's.
and always remmber to check the noise floor that the amp produce...(low noise is very importen for clean signal).

U can get them active or passive.
Now back to ur Question, My boss at the mastering studio uses an Yamaha 750 Amp. with his passive Dynaudio Contour 3.1
Its one Massive peace of led.
If i were u i would contact Dynaudio and ask them for there opinion.
There is abunch of stuff u have to look for, to bring out the best from ur BM6.
