How About 12 hour outdoor party in dubai after ramdan?

We had an outdoor in Umm Al Qwain couple weeks back. Small but killer scene! Beautiful sunrise by the beach!! No cop problems as it was in the resort premises...
In this country, the bigger the scene the more the problems and that too why risk so much money for the kind of music no one has heard of in this country?? Keep it small, keep it low, and leave the big scenes for Bombay/Goa!! Boom!!

Well, im quite confident, by the response i have got so far from u guys, that this really is not a bad idea at all. I have some venues in my mind like,
Aviation club
Dubai Autodrome
Mina seyahi
Al nasr leisureland
If u guys can come up with some more suggestions, it would be highly appreciable.
@heady - My target is more than 3000, for the outdoor event, n im planning a war of djs kinda party, where the best will be killing the night.
@dj sahil - too much of small gigs bro, now the time has arrived to evolve in a magnificent n big way. |

ok seriously,i dunno what line up u got in mind..but most of dance/house/tech djs that ppl. would like 2 attend are already superstazz..!

and if u talkin pure psy ( which would be gr8 )..3000 ppl. haven't been infected yet..
i agree with sahil..try 2 make a smasher of a small event first..!
word of mouth will be a better way of publicity ...

Hmmm...DJ war???....as heady said....not that quite a good idea......its gonna end up something diff!.. wat i wld suggest is.....u cld call all the psy Dj's in town along with ur main artists...tht way it wld promote the scene as well as talent and ppl get oppurtunities.....But its ur call once again...so full respect to u in wat ur tryin to achieve ...
and yea its time to evolve in a big way! LOL!

hari om..very true..this country has seen lotta war of djs..wats missin is our very own crazy psy music blasted 2 3000ppl..u can already have your own small psy scenes now n then..its time 2 educate this place of psy music n its culture n get them familiar wit our clan(psychotic creatures)....dont waste n your time n energy n ofcourse money in gathering jugglers n visualisations..make it a pure goa rave scene in dubai!..thats it!...boom!..luv psychoshiv

Great feedbacks, very informative, definetely have to be a bit realistic too, but its always positive to dream, n dream big, thats how i percieve things.
I hope we will pull out something juicy by next month, lets be positive, what say. |

micro ... ur game ... what abt the rest ... having an outdoor is bloody risky ... getting a club that'll go on for 12 hrs is risky ... getting zee tv n all as sponsors ... sounds great .. but promoting the event... counting counting we can have 2-300 ppl slamming it with us ...
dude u gotta promote the psy culture here ... its not like house or progressive sounds where ppl flip out on here...
recently there was tiesto or whatever his name is ... get julian or aaron(ocelot), even if u getr brian from bbay ... u wont get as much as power as u will with any commercial artist/dj ... off course the music id way way more poweful .. but look at it commercially...
abhi , cyrus and me tried and tried ... its expensive mate ... getting an artist aint the problem . the place ... the expenses and the crowd ... these are the problems we face ... no clubs wanna have a psy nite on a thursday .. they all wanna carry on doing their commercial gigs... and club blue ... i detest ...
psychoactive ... mate if u can pull of something like that ... im sure by ur side on this ... but dont look at the response u get from here only ... dubai has a shit load more amount of ppl who havent even heard abt this forum ...
and as sahil said ... keep it low n keep it small ... works out for all of us then ...
but something is stirring up after ramadan ... but another private party ... :-( ...

I definetely agree with u psinide, expecting a huge turnout for a pure psy outdoor event is a bit tacky affair, but i will try if i can get some sponsors for outdoor event, indoor is still possible anytime. |

Definetely outdoors r allowed, why not, all u need is a venue where they can host outdoor events. I can also suggest some farm house, if anyone here knows or own a farm house, even that can be a decent affair. |

heady .. make it happen in mena seyahi ... get me the permission and ill get u a killer artist ... man this is a psy scene .. not a friggin rain dance ... firstly getting the god damn place will cost a bomb .. then artist expenses n all ... man that gonna cost us thousands ... doesnt happen like that .. and then to atleast break even we gotta get thye crowd ... fcuk knows what deal a place like that might give us ... so think before u talk ... all the suggestions for places are good mate .. but atleast think what comes along with them ... even the lodge ... those freeks want money for the place ... give us nothing at the bar and take a percentage from the entry ... so yah .. not happening ... avaiation club is good .. but they dont have any sound .. so sound will cost us extra there ... cyrus had something going on .. the artist was booked everything was done .. but again place wasnt happening ,.... the only option here is blue which all of us hate and that place has alota negative vibes i feel ... so i detest having a gig there ... so please people ... something will happen .. when its viable for it to happen ... otherwise if someone has a farm or something way outta dubai ... gimme a call ...

psybeing bro lemme tell u something this country not alotta ppl even know wat psy is,n keeping a big party is a risk+farms are mostly owned by locals who im sure will not let any1 use due to family reasons+ they wudnt want to do anything noticeable in thier farm.What your planning for is great outdoor is the thing to do but if u get permission.
Best of luck man its been a while since we have had a good party in this dry land.
