after last couple of mnml partys last 2-3 months i noticed one thing that started to bother me and lets say kills the dancing....house basslines in mnml tracks...it kind of slows down tracks for me...everything is techno on top but this basslines really kind of kill the flow for me...this sounds great when i listen this at home...but on the party it feels, for me, like a lack of energy....

does anyone else noticed this ? and has this kind of problem on the dancefoor?
i really tend to get really bord after a hour...

Should we say, that using them ( housy bassline ) by creating a track - minimal track is a bit commercial and more "loved by the people". I think that, thats why some producers are still using housy bass lines for their minimal trip. Creating something for the people on the dancefloor and for a better sale.

Just my 2 cents; Cheers,

hei dude whats the problem?just my two cents....but ok maybe its better to shut up today,it seems that i am being misunderstood or maybe i didnt get the point of shuma properly...

looooonggg day

but anyway i felt into that conclusion after 18 years partying

before the syles where together in a party...people were there for fun....now in the present you have lots of experts in the dancefloor just analysing the music the deco, the dress of the dj.......people started to separate styles...and things became boring....djs left to do one important thing....to follow the wave....like this i am not admired that many of the music we have today is made with the head of the d...k....sorry but its what i think.........i respect shuma as i respect you as i respect all...but maybe the problem is not the housy basslines but the people that stupidly cant go to a party and FEEL... i said maybe......maybe its me that gets bored after 2 hours of only minimal,or only house or only trance..

for me boredom is not the housy basslines...anyway minimal(this one we are talking about) comes from house as much of the electronic music...the real problem is that stops in the middle of the music and cheesy melodies leading to hysterical neo romantisms..this is boring for me house basslines are groovy and most of the minimal copy/use that same patterns...sometimes with other more irritant noises and silly clicks(hummm silly clicks is a good name...dont tell anyone...)

the cure for boredom is curiosity...
there is no cure for curiosity

love you all

p.s-and i forgot to mention that swing quantize effect in every minimal release grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!its more than annoying
